This Weekend...Shedd Aquarium!

We braved the cold on Saturday and made our way over to the Shedd Aquarium to check out the Jellies exhibit. It was well worth waiting outside in the cold for 20 minutes. I've always been fascinated by jelly fish ever since my sister got stung by one on a beach in Kauai, HI. I couldn't believe that a jelly-like thing that was washed up on shore could do that.
It was nice walking around the dimly lit aquarium and checking out all the beautiful sea creatures. As for admission, I was a bit bummed that the Shedd doesn't give teachers free admission with an ID. You have to register online for a free ticket. You live, you learn.
