No more cable t.v.

We canceled our cable t.v. so we can save some money. We figure we watch more shoes on Hulu and Netflix anyways so, it wouldn't be such a big deal. After a few weeks of not having the option to veg in front of the t.v., we were so productive! We would read books together and just get more things done in the apartment. Until...he discovered that we have basic cable! Then we started by watching the news in the morning before work, then I would start watching it on my days off, and now we're watching ridiculous public access shows before we go to bed.
Last night, we saw a public access show that had a fashion show and rap artists! They were in a large empty, brick exposed space with one party light that flashed a bunch of colors on the wall and floor. Who knew there was so much talent (not really) on late night public access! It's too bad that it was way too entertaining to help us fall asleep. Did I mention they had a magician too? Yep, that's right. He also had an assistant with attitude. Awesome.
