being a grown up isn't as fun as i thought

when i was younger, i couldn't wait to be an adult so i could do whatever i wanted to--like take ballet classes. even though many adults told me that it wasn't all that great i thought they were lying to me. i mean, that's what adults did; lie to kids.

so, i am an adult now. working to pay my own bills and taking care of 2 cutie kitties and a boyfriend. oh, and i've decided to go back to school to get a graduate degree in elementary education. as you can see, i don't ever want to grow up. i want to stay in school forever that i'm even going to teach in one.

okay, now for the not so fun part of being an adult. it's the loans. the loans you need to buy a car, to buy a house, and/or to go back to school. you apply for them, you pay them, you consolidate them, you borrow against them, you default on them. ugh. if grown ups told me about this whole loan thing when i was younger i think i would've believed them when they told me that it's not what it's all cracked up to be. oh, and not to mention the slower metabolism. i could do without that as well.
