Happy holidays
This year is the second year in a row that we didn't have to go to the Mister's parent's for Christmas. It was great because we were able to set new Christmas traditions in our own little family but it was hard because I had to do all the cooking and planning. I made a snack called Christmas Crack Wednesday night with the help of my husband. I also went shopping earlier on in the week for ingredients to make jajangmyeon (Asian black bean pasta). I'm trying to create new holiday traditions in our family and thought adding a Korean dish would be nice since I also made tamales for Christmas Eve. Phew! Just writing down the dishes I made this past week makes me tired... On Christmas day we went to Lincoln Park Zoo like we did last year and had a great time. Audrey had tons of fun running around and looking at all the animals that were wide awake and moving around.
